Fall Ball

Fall Ball is a great way for your player to keep working on his/her baseball skills in an informal and fun environment. The Fall Ball season runs from early September to late October. Registration takes place from late July through mid August.  There are usually one to two games per week and an optional drop-in practice on weekends.

Fall Ball is designed as a developmental league. Fall Ball consists of fun scrimmage games focusing on baseball fundamentals and instruction. It provides a great opportunity to learn new skills and sharpen existing ones in a less-competitive environment than the regular Spring season.  Players will be encouraged to try new and different positions.

For Fall Ball, players are grouped into three divisions: 7-8 year olds, 9-10 year olds, and 11-12 year olds.  The divisions are determined by your player's League Age for the past Spring season.

  • 7/8 division: Introduction to kid pitch with some coach pitching. This division plays one game a week with an optional weekend practice.
  • 9/10 division and 11/12 division: Regular season rules with continuous batting order. Pitchers are limited to three outs per game and players are rotated through a variety of positions. Two games per week with an optional weekend practice.
Games are played but scores are not recorded, and standings are not kept. Unlike the Spring season, there is no evaluation or draft for Fall Ball. Any local player is eligible to register and participate. Prior baseball or Little League experience is not required.
