Closing Ceremony & Home Run Derby

The Spring 2024 Closing Ceremony will be held Saturday, June 8th, from 9:30am to 10:30am on Field 1 at Harvey West Park.

Events will include a parade of teams (have your player wear their jersey), Good Sport Awards, Positive Coaching Awards, recognition for Majors, AAA and AA playoff winners, and All Star team announcements. The Home Run Derby will be held immediately after the closing ceremony ends (more details below). Families can also pick up make-up photos in the Snack Shack. We hope to see everyone there!

We also hope you have enjoyed watching the games this season and that it has been a positive and fun experience for all the kids. Thank you to everyone who has donated so much time and energy to making it all happen -- the league would not be possible without the efforts of all our families and volunteers.

HOME RUN DERBY RULES

- Open to Majors division players
- Interested players can sign up before or after the Closing Ceremony at Field 1
- Each hitter gets 10 balls pitched from the pitching machine on Field 1
- 2 points for a ball hit over the wall on a fly; 1 point for a ball that hits the wall
- Top 4 hitters after round 1 advance to round 2
- The hitter with the most points after round 2 is the winner
- Trophy and bragging rights as prizes
