New board members needed!

Are you looking for a unique and rewarding volunteer opportunity? Have you been wanting to find a way to give back to the wonderful Santa Cruz Little League community? Well, look no further!

Santa Cruz Little League is looking for committed volunteers like you to join our Board of Directors. Our volunteer board has been the driving force of our organization, ensuring that all aspects of the little league experience are available to the kids. The Board is responsible for field maintenance coordination, scheduling, umpire training and coordinating, fundraising, uniforms, snack shack management, team forming, rules/regulations communication, volunteer coordinating and much more. We have immediate openings that can meet your interests and expertise.

If you enjoy working with others that have SCLL community interests at heart and want to help, then you’ll find board service very rewarding. We are looking for folks who will:

Attend 9 board meetings annually. Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of every month.
Actively serve in at least one main role and be willing to help out with other activities/committees as needed.
Be proactive in looking for ways to improve and advocate for the community and among your colleagues and peers.
Be a Santa Cruz Little League community representative, there to help answer questions and solve problems.
