Challenger starts April 24th

Santa Cruz Little League is pleased to announce the start of the 2022 Challenger season. Due to Covid it's been a few years since the Challenger division has played, and we are excited to have it back this year!

The Challenger Division is for developmentally and physically challenged kids, helping them enjoy the full benefits of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities.

All players play defensively and bat every inning. The players are paired with "buddies" from the Majors Division during each game. Buddies assist Challenger athletes with batting, base running and defense as needed.

The Challenger Angels will have their first game this Sunday, April 24th, starting at 1pm on Field 1. Games will be held on Sundays at 1pm for the next six weeks. The Majors Royals will be the game buddies for the opener. Come watch the game and cheer on all the kids!

Dates: Sunday April 24, and May 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29
