Hit-A-Thon March 9th

NOTE: OPENING DAY CEREMONIES AND THE HIT-A-THON ARE POSTPONED UNTIL MARCH 9TH. NEW SCHEDULE COMING SOON.

We will be hosting our annual Hit-A-Thon on Opening Day, Saturday, March 2nd for Single A teams through Intermediate! This is the single most important fundraiser for Santa Cruz Little League. The funds raised will aid in purchasing new team equipment, cover field expenses, and help with improvements. It also allows all children to participate in Little League regardless of their ability to pay through the scholarship fund. You will have until the end of the day on March 9th to get as many pledges as you can.

*The Hit-A-Thon for Tee Ball and Farm will be held on Saturday, March 9th.

How the Hit-A-Thon works:

Each team will get 15 minutes on Field #5. A pitching machine will be set up for the managers to pitch 5 balls to each player while the rest of the team fields the balls. There will be a prize given to the player who hits the farthest ball on each team!

After the players have taken their turn, they will be given a ticket for their 'goodie bag' to be redeemed at the snack shack. The event is quick and easy and the players have a lot of fun! The schedule for the event is at the end of this email and will also be posted on the Little League website.

You will receive an email with a link to your child’s online pledge page. You do not need to log in or change anything. All you have to do is make a donation for whatever amount you can, and share your participant's link with friends and family. We are shooting for 100% participation so no amount is too small!

- 2nd Place: Boardwalk Season Pass
- 3rd Place: $100 Play-It-Again Sports gift card

- Grand prize for top team overall: Pizza party at Woodstock Pizza
- Grand prize for top team in each division: Ice Cream Truck party
