2024 Umpire Clinic Dates

MECHANICS CLINICS

February 4th
Ages 16 and Up
Lunch provided
Time: 8:30am – sign-in; clinic from 9am - 4pm
Location: Pajaro Valley Little League – at Monte Vista Christian School (2 School Way, Watsonville, CA 95076)

February 10th
All ages
No Lunch
Time: 8:30am – sign-in; clinic from 9am – 1pm
Location: Scotts Valley Little League – Siltanen Community Park (Vine Hill School Rd, Scotts Valley, CA 95066)

February 18th
All ages
No Lunch
Time: 8:30am – sign-in; clinic from 9am – 1pm
Location: Aptos Little League – Aptos Junior High School (1001 Huntington Dr, Aptos, CA 95003)

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The Mechanics clinic on Sunday, February 4th is a longer clinic, intended for ages 16 and up. It is open to veteran D39 umpires as well as new umpire candidates. A cup is required for male umpires for plate work with a pitching machine.

The clinics on Saturday, February 10th and Sunday, February 18th are shorter clinics, intended for youth umpires, but adults are also welcome.

The Rules clinic is in two parts – different material will be covered each day. The rules clinic is open to all – veteran umpires, new umpires, managers, coaches, and parents.

REGISTRATION

There is no registration required for the online Rules clinics.

Please pre-register for the Mechanics clinics in one of two ways:

1. Contact Santa Cruz Little League UIC (umpire in chief) Jason Cirillo at [email protected] and let him know you want to attend the clinic. Jason will be your contact person.
